Historic Steam Vessels in Narragansett Bay

This presentation will be an overview of Rhode Island maritime history, specifically the historic steam vessels that frequented the Narragansett Bay and nearby waters. Learn how people traveled in and around Rhode Island when the waterways were the primary highways. Steamship Historical Society of America’s Archivist Astrid Drew and Assistant Archivist Heather Pouliot Kisilywicz will incorporate images and artifacts from the society’s broad and dynamic collections.
